Ted Benedict (B.Ed. 1966) plays a sax while performing the limbo at a university dance.

Benedict was a member of The Jurelles, a band that performed at dances almost every weekend in and around Saskatoon during the school year.

The band was an offshoot of the Ag Band and the Music Program, and was run by drummer and trumpeter Ed Schultz (B.Ag. 1964).

The sextet consisted of three saxes (two tenors and an alto), guitar, drums and piano. Other members were Terry Anderson (B.Ag. 1964), Cec Werner (B.Ag. 1966) and Boyd Burrell (B.Ag. 1964).
