This image is taken from an autograph album that was presented by “overseas students” to the University of Saskatchewan’s second president James S. Thomson in the spring of 1949.
The book was listed on EBay and was purchased and donated by a friend of the archives.
It contains photographs of individuals and groups as well as notes of thanks to Dr. Thomson. Students from China, Trinidad, South Africa, India, Norway, Greece, Switzerland, Czechoslovakia and New Zealand are represented in its pages.
